Suddenly the idea was there. And it hasn’t let go of us. A Goodpearl bag with the word GOD on it. No advertising, no company logo, just this word that stands for so many things.

Everyone in our team believes in HIM. Just like so many other people. But writing his name on a bag? Making a profit using his name? Can you really accept doing such a thing? We think you can and would like to explain our point of view:
Every group has its sign of recognition; trends and fashions demonstrate affiliation. You cannot recognize people who believe in God just by looking at them. This is really a shame. For then you would be able to see just how many do believe. People who might not relate to the church and religion, but who believe in the good and in God. People who know that HE is in everyone of us and who act accordingly. Each in his own way. Not according to the written word and imposed codes of conduct, but according to his own instincts. Because it is so good.

We think it would be good if we could recognize these people and smile at them. If God became a trend … at first, perhaps, just with the aid of a bag with HIS name on it as a sign of recognition. And it would be even better if this trend were to become a movement

We are only too aware of the fact that carrying such a bag with you requires the courage of your convictions. Every person who buys such a bag and carries it with him or gives it away as a present must be prepared to be engaged in a conversation. People will certainly react to it. But it is possible that you could also be positively surprised! We believe in it!

Information on the business background

At this point we would like to disclose the business aspects of the undertaking. It was important to us to use a quality product made in Germany. This is why we chose to work together with the outdoor specialists Messrs. Ortlieb in Heilbronn. This meant that we could count on their many years of experience and provide a 5-year guarantee on the God bag.

But quality comes at a price and we have all calculated everything as tightly as possible. The retail price of the God bag is € 39.90 plus postage and packaging. Two thirds of the net profit per bag will be used by Goodpearl to support humanitarian projects. The projects we support will be named here on our website. Opportunities to earn money, that develop from the storage and dispatch of the bags etc., will be given to people in our circle of friends who are unemployed and/or in a plight.

We will support humanitarian projects where the founders are involved personally and where there are no excessive administration costs. And, at the same time, this will help us make this movement known and propagate itself. For this reason we decided to work together with artists whose projects and personal way of thinking have their own understanding of God and are characterized by social responsibility and humanitarianism. Last but not least: We have all given a lot of thought to how we can put this idea into practice. For this reason we have also ensured the lasting protection of the copyrights.
